| I currently wakeboard behind a 16ft fishing boat but I am looking at wakeboard boats. I realize it mostly has to do with preference but I'm wondering the wake difference, or wake type between boat companys, like mastercraft, nautiques, tige, supra/moomba's and or any other companies, hope i dont start a war here just want to figure out the difference in wakes and the best one or the best one for me since I've never ridden behind a wakeboard boat, not even an inboard. |

The question is what your willing to spend. I havent had many rides behind wakeboard specific boats but i have ridden behind a mastercraft x-9. It was a sweet boat. Wake was perfect but its around 48 thousand pimped out. So it depends what you want to spend. _________________ 93 four winns

Malibu=super rampy
Mastercraft=varys from model to model
Supra/Moomba=vert to rampy depending on where you have the wakeplate set
Nautique=super vertical wake
Tige=same as Supra/Moomba do to TAPS
Hope this helps _________________ help me get a free ipod http://www.ipodnanos4free.com/default.aspx?r=482524 |

ballywho, Definately not. The SAN is known for its super steep wake. Personally I love it. Master crafts typically have very rampy wakes. _________________ The sky is not the limit. Wanna see me naked? |

| Thanks for the help, I have been riding and learned on a fishing boat, I have gotten the the point where I can do 180's and 3's but thats about it and today for the first time I went out on supra and it was great and sucked at the same time, I feel like I have to relearn everything all over again being behind an actual wakeboard boat, I just wish I knew more people in the area or anyone that had a boat |

of course they will take newbies out! most experienced riders enjoy passing on the knowledge and expertise. its a great way to progress too, as the competition is greater and pushes you to try things that you normally wouldnt! _________________ There's nothing like a good old faceplant to wake you up in the morning! |
