Yes, this seller has a wonderful feedback but it was all for condos. Notice how the ad states to email to a specific address and not bid.
Stolen Ebay account and trying to handle the deal outside of Ebay. Send your money and it will be lost, guaranteed. |

| Almost certainly a stolen ID. That is why he wants you to not bid and email that address in the ad directly. Yeah, right, can't access his account email... of course not because it isn't linked to an email address that he has access to. He only has the stolen Ebay ID. |

Give them one thing... they are fast to reply on this scam. I am guessing an automated response. Now, what person named Regina Salgado
would use mackhondel@yahoo.com as the email address?
"Regina Salgado" <mackhondel@yahoo.com>
Dear Sir ,
First I will like to tell you that I am in United Kingdom and the boat is in Square Trade's custody in US the boat will be shipped from there on my expence .
The boat is like new , in perfect condition . I am selling this boat because the shipping to Europe will cost me to much .I have this boat from my father in law .The Buy it now price is $5,700 . I will sell the boat to the first one that makes a 2,850 $ deposit through Square Trade .
To be fair with all possible buyers I will sell the boat to the first buyer that will arange the Square Trade deposit payment . If you are able to make the payment today or tomorrow you will be the next owner of this boat .
Terms & Conditions Shipping and handling:
The shipping address must be provided before sending the deposit payment. The boat will be shipped through JC MOTORS or DAS Shipping Company . The boat will only be sent after receiving the deposit payment. I agreed with eBay Square Trade to send my boat to its warehouse since I am not in US .
This way, both sides (seller and buyer) are insured by eBay.
Payment:
If you will offer the buy it now price I will suport all the shipping from the warehouse to your address .
For the deposit payment i would like to use eBay Square Trade as a third party . They will keep your money until you get the boat and will release it to me upon delivery .
Here are my name and address you need for the payment in case you decide to buy the boat :
Regina Salgado
22 Merton High Street
London SW19 1DN
United Kingdom
The boat is ready for shipment, i just need the payment confirmation from Square Trade with the transfer's details and the boat will be delivered to your address.
REFUND-After the boat arrives, you have a 7 days period for inspection. If the boat is different than the way i've described it, 100% refund - transfer fees and the boat will be shipped back to the warehouse on my expence. Anyway, i don't think it will be necesary, you'll love this boat from very first moment you'll see it.
Buy with confidence!
I will have pay for an insurance to eBay Square Trade as proof my trustworthiness.
Thanks for the conceded time .
I am looking forward to your reply.
Regina Salgado |

Please, it is a scam. If revealing the scam and the address can yield to the stopping of this... sue me for violating his privacy. This is a well documented scam and anyone that sends an email to that address will get the same response and anyone that sends money to that physical address will not see the money nor the boat again. |

A good friend of mine works in their legal department, I was just about to forward this to her. Looks like ebay already figured it out _________________ http://www.integrity-wake.com

| For someone residing in the UK they don't know how to write in English. If I can't understand someone's terms and conditions I get suspicious. Did it take EBay long to shut him down? |

| I sent the auction to them when I got that email. I also sent an email back to that ID thanking them for the scam email so I could send it to Ebay. |

I saw about 5 of these exact same scams when I was looking to buy a car last year. One was a BMW Z8 $79,000.00 car for $12,000.00
The tell tale sign is that they already have the escrow picked out, because they own the phony escrow company and can get your money with out sending you Sh1t.
I in milano, I can no drive car hear cauz emitions are not right for country standards..... bla bla bla yeah right.... _________________ I'm not buying it a beer Dude!

I looked at some lenses from either the same seller or a similar scam. They send you to a square trade website that looks very authentic but is totally bogus. It got down to the same condition that's a dead give away everytime - you had to wire transfer the money. There are no good deals on Ebay anymore it's become a complete sellers market. Let's face it you're showing your product to over 30 million people - there's always going to be someone interested in it so when a deal looks to good to be true . . . . . . . _________________ Rich Dykmans |

| We're not completely sure yet, but, my buddy was almost taken to the cleaners this week on a 2003 X7 in mint shape for 25,000 (ebay). The guy wanted 2,500 by western union. Ugh. He had tons of paperwork prepared. The name Square Trade was involved also. He would only do business by email. He's still waiting on his bank to investigate the boat and paperwork. He said the guy said he needed money real badly. However he hasn't returned an email in almost two days after my buddy started asking more questions. |

ahhhh the good ol rule:
TOO GOOOD TO BE TRUE
applies to the internet more then any other thing ever.
People on Craigs list are buying wal mart furniture and selling it as used high end furniture for more then you can buy it for.
Damn people before you spend your hard earned money, THINK, and RESEARCH... |

| Jflo, the people running these scams are telling people to contact them on an email....instead of going through ebay. I'm not sure what would happen if it went through ebay though and it turned out to be a scam. |
