Well i had my last ride of the season yesterday and im a bit sad about it for a few reasons 1. that ive been riding with a heap of cool people around America the last 2 months!!! 2. That ive actually learnt a few tricks this season and gotten my passion back for boarding. 3. my trip around america is also over 4. that im about to miss the season back home in australia so i wont be riding again for pretty much a year! hopefully i dont lose too much of what ive picked up this year.
Who else has finished their season of riding??? what was the best thing to come out of this season for you?? _________________

While our season isn't quite over yet, it's slowly coming to an end. This year has been a blast. I've gotten back into riding after takeing a three year break, and I've met some great people to ride with off of this site.
Some of the more memorable times have been with Skwake and CM. We got in some good riding as well as some awesome partying.
I'm always pumped for the winter b/c of all the hunting I can do, but for the first time I hate to see the summer end. |

| This season/summer was my best/favorite ever...by far. New Malibu VLX, stepped it up and started to really progress, rode with all my friends pretty much daily, etc. Just awesome. My thoughts for the end of the end of the season is that if winter didnt come, summer wouldnt be special. You gotta balance it out! Also we got snowboard season coming! I still hate to see summer go. Fall=CRAP. At least I probably got another 1-3 runs left. |

My season ended in a month ago. The best thing that came out of this year is how much I progressed and what I learned. It was sad to see summer end. _________________ i have mastered the art of the wipeout. |

| My season never really started, i rode a whole 2 times this year. My parents were being biatches and wouldn't let me meet new people to ride with and wouldn't get our boat ready. The best part of my year was getting pulled by an Xstar, and the second time out getting 3 feet of air consistently behind an outboard wake. Also getting my edge down was HUGE. |

My season doesn't end for another month here in NY. When it does I hope to have my hs fs 180's down and maybe grabbed.

Yeah I don't know about the season ending. I rode more this year than any other and my riding has improved immensly. I rode Saturday & had the best set of the whole summer. Stomped every one of my hard tricks without a fall and felt great. Oh yeah & I was trunking it. I guess I only learned one new trick this year, a TS frontroll but have started grabbing my Crows and taking my grabbed 3's big and getting my TS 5 consistent enough to throw in competition. The best thing to come from the summer was the fun & comraderie of riding with all kinds of people. Houseboat trip to Shasta was awesome & West Coast Camps is the coolest place in the world.
One can't let wakeboarding stop & to those that live in cold places, you hold the cards, the rest of us are riding year round, come join us(just stay away from Central CA). Haha just messin. |

I've riden less this year than I have in the last 13 years. It sucked.
Hopefully this weekend will be good.

Crazy man, i was just thinking about this as I was driving to work.
Well I've got a lot of other things to work on in the Fall and Winter, so the boat is being put in the garage for the season after this weekend. Bringing the family up to Nash to let them see why their son got this boat.
Then it's time to finish the jeep, and prep for snowboarding! |
