| I was wondering if any of you have tried signing up on one of their websites. I am a college student and trying to buy some gear and with an already filled schedule, I thought I'd try it? Have you found any legit sites? Most of the sites that review them are themselves operated by the sites, so I am hesitant to try one... Any thoughts?

I've never shooped before, so no.
Seriously, though, no.

If I told you I shooped, it wouldn't be a secret anymore, now would it?

| Well I am not sure of the specifics. I know that basically you go to resturants and retailers and rate your experience, how it was, quality, service, etc... I use to bartend and I found out from one regular customer, that he did it during college and it was flexible and decent money. I believe that you can chose where you go by applying to different companies that use the secret shoppers for feedback, for example walmart is a big user. It is suppose to be whenever you want, own hours.

Just an observation here, but you have 2 posts, both in the same thread and in the non-wake forum.
This is a wakeboarding discussion board so wouldn't it make sense that your 1st post at least be wakeboarding related
If you are trying to NOT look like a spammer, you suck at it.

I just heard it today on the radio as well. My only thoughts were, why I didn't change the station.

So I used to work retail, in undergrad, and we were suspect to "secret shoppers." The only thing that I can tell you is that it must not be a selective process to work at one because our shoppers were not very good at hiding the what they were doing. Their visits were almost scripted and it would take about 30 seconds for an employee to recognize that they are a secret shopper. The other thing is that the company's that hire secret shoppers place a high value on the feedback that they receive.
Hope this helps out alittle.

Sorry to bust your bubble...but....I’m not a spammer buddy. I have been reading these threads for about a month now and I have just started wakeboarding. I felt this would be a good place to ask this question, due to the fact that;
1.) This is a great avenue to ask a question where I will receive a truthful answer, I find it hard to believe that I will be misled; I feel that whatever response I get, it will help with my question?
2.) This is the "Non-Wakeboarding" thread. I am correct right...yes you pointed that out, thank you.
3.) I haven't had the need to sign up and register to ask any questions because they have all been covered... I just started wakeboarding and I don't believe that you (along with everyone else) want to see me asking about what I should do next, board to get, or whatever else, when I can spend a little extra time and find it on my own.
But I would like to extend my warmest welcome to you and look forward to seeing how you will respond to this.
