This is driving me crazy!

This is driving me a bit insane, i get about 200 spam messages a day, all the stupid chainmail crap, in my email account and i usually end up deleting messages from my friends on accident.

what software/email service do you have that filters the spam for you?

dlj81159, establish a new account, and only give the address to people you REALLY want mail from.

I have email addresses that no one could guess in the right mind with 32sdei.oald@cox.net or similar and I still get spam messages. But I use software filters to automatically change colors and move messages based on words I've seen frequently. Helps a little, but gmail is the way to go.

It's free, and has some tools for filtering and blacklisting, as well as a friends list. My favorite part (aside from being free) is that it only downloads headers, so it's much faster-loading than email programs. (It's not intended as a mail reader, you should still use whatever you use now for that.)

Hockeyplayer, that's okay with me. My primary/favourite method of communication is telegrams.

Hockeyplayer, I know a CEO who delegates that type of work all the time. A bunch of her employees just quit! Shocked
