| I had to reboot my router the other day and re-insall the software... but now there are a couple domains that I can't get to anymore on a specific IP address. Anyone know why this would be, or how I can fix it? |

At home or at work? And when you say domains, do you mean AD domains, or FQDN on web? Did you use custom routing tables? _________________ TONA

| I've got just a regular linksys router at home. There's a bunch of sites all hosted on the same server with different domain names, but I can't get to any of them on the one specific server. |

Do you speak Chinese ( cantonese )? You could always call Linksys help line. _________________ I'm hung like Einstein,

Did I ever tell you about the Dell Technician I got into an argument with? Took 10 mins to give him an email address and contact name, then he told me that it was 'impossible' for me to have an underscore in my email address and I was giving him a fake one! |

Have your linksys manual?
Check on opening the internal firewall. _________________ I'm hung like Einstein,

what IP address are you trying to access? Are you sure that the server is up?
if it works from other places, it's time to start looking at the routing table on your router.

Are you hosting the server inside your router, and cant get to the server from the outside? _________________ TONA

jvanick, yeah the server is up for sure. I haven't changed any of my router settings either and I've tried playing with them just for kicks.
The cable company was screwing around with something the other day, I'm wondering if I got a new IP address and now lost the path to that server temporarily because of external routing issues? Weird... I think I'm gonna wait a day or two and see if it fixes itself. |

The routing table should clear when you reset your router. You could try setting your computer as the DMZ host to see if it's a port issue.
I've had to call linksys support a couple times and they're fairly helpful. I'd give that a try if the DMZ host doesn't work. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

You can always use trace route from DOS to see where it gets denied.
