I was just wondering if any of you ride a real surf board behind the boat?
We have tired a landlock and some other wake surf boards, but we all would rather ride a 6'6" surf board. It's more of a challenge to just get up, not to mention it rides totaly different.

i ride a lost enterprises mayhem 6'6" board, it is very stable and easy to get up on.
only drawback is when you run into the back of the boat and the tip breaks off. or you fall and the wind catches the board and blows it 30 feet away from you.

Yeah, I ride my old 6'2 custom board. I think its a Juan Deleon design. I bought it used when I lived in australia and flew it back to the States with me. It was a coffee table for a while. Now its a garage decoration when its not getting abused behind the boat. Wink

we were riding an old retro fish 5'9 surf board for a long while. just replaced it with a real wakesurfer the hyperlite broadcast 4'6.. while it was much easier to surf the real surfboard without the rope and stay up with the wake. the wake surfer is way more manuverable and basically just a lot more fun to play on.
