I thought Nationals went pretty good. But then again this was my first pro event. Was a little disappointed with the judging. not sure how Parks and Grubb weren't allowed into the finals, but whatever. Here are a few photos off my digital camera now. Hopefully I'll get the way better film photos soon.

| In Semis: Tino rode really well, Parks did too, but Tino stomped it.

i might be mistaken, but I thought Tino crashed once during semi-finals and Parks didn't. If that's true. i'm not sure how he beat him. Even if he didn't crash, parks' run looked way more technical to me, and everyone in the announcers booth sure thought he had it. oh well. as long as Harf beat soven i was stoked.

| Yeah, I thought Parks would have done really well. His run was solid he rode away from everything clean, who knows!

parks has some tech tricks in his run, but sometimes the difficulty isnt quite there. take his t/s b/s 180 is just not as difficult as a t.s f/s 9 or crowmobe 5.

Here are just a few more photos from Nationals. I'll probably add some more when I feel like scanning again.

Excellent shots! I have some shots up on another site, along with a little blurb about the event. My shots are no where near the quality. I just had a little digi cam with limited zoom. The more you zoomed the lower the quality. You get the idea. If you want you can check it out:

The story also has a link to the gallery. Just thought I would share it, in case anyone was interested.

in that first set of photos, what's with that barrel in the invert1 photo? there's just a barrel with some stickers on it that looks like it's anchored. is that for doing ollie tricks over or what?
