I have wide feet, can anyone recomend good bindings. Currently I ride a liquid force search with flight bindings. These bindings fit pretty decent but there is no support and when I land and my feet move in the bindings. I would prefer hyperlite equipment (my friend owns a skate shop and he carries hyperlite, but he isnt a wakeboarder). I am also looking to upgrade my board this winter, how much of a difference will I see going to higher end board. I like the what I have read about the premier, not to aggressive but still has good pop. My brother and I both started wakeboarding this summer and have progressed to landing 360's and he is really close to landing a tantrum. We are not looking to turn pro or anything, we just enjoy the sport and its fun to land new tricks. I just wish we would have had a boat and wakeboard when were in our late teens and early twenties, I'm 28 and he is 34, it would have made the learning curve a lot less painfull.

djustice, check out the murray bindings from hyperlite. they are super comfy and real easy to get into. as far as a new board goes, it all depends what you are looking for in a board, do you want more of an abrupt pop that will take all of your tricks more up and wake to wake? or do you want one that is going to give you more of a longer jump into the flats?

REPOST.....use the search function, newb.

I have super wide feet that go numb is just about every binding out there. My Luke Wolfs are sick. Super wide, comfy and wolid. There are also CD's or Concretes but I am not in the mood to get knocked out so I stay away from them.

I want more pop than I have now, but I dont want it so abrupt that you have to have perfect form every time to enjoy it. I have no personel experience with 3-stage rockers, but from reading on here I think a subtle 3-stage is what we are looking for. I would say we average 3.5-4 ft. high on w2w jumps(I really dont know how high, its feels higher than that, but I dont want to be that Guy), maybe a little higher if we cut really hard but that usually sends us into the flats and with those crappy bindings the harder landings are taking a toll on the ankles. Would a board like the premier be good for 1 to 2 extra feet of height over the search we have now. Also I noticed that the premier comes in 136 and 141, currently we ride a 138. Both of us are around 5'7", 175 lbs. Which size do you recommend.

Normally, at your level, the board won't make much of a difference in height. A three-stage rocker will make you feel more like you've been kicked into the air than a continuous.

As for wide foot bindings.....I have tripe-E wide feet and ride the liquid force transits. They are super comfy. The 2006 alphas are exactly the same as this year's transits. If you don't like the transits/alphas, try the sphynx, they are slightly wider.
