Don't care who wins, but REALLY hope it goes 7 and ends in overtime.

thats the reason I hate him, he has soooo much potential, but when you are not the C, or even an A, it sends a message to me, i think he was the C on the blues,

I think Symth is the C?

muckmeister, when you come from another team that has an established leader, you aren't usually going to get the C. I see your point though - with his talent, he should probably have an A on his sweater.

Pretty sure Ray Bourque got the C the instant he got to the Avs. Anyone know if that's true?

I figured there was a REAL reason for all the hate! Like he was a consistent prick or something.

Pronger is the bomb...he can outright control the ice...and he has so much class that he probably demanded that no one loose an "A" or the "C" just so he could have one...he can lead just fine without the bling. Look at his stats in the play-offs he is a freak...ice time, points, plus/minus, hits etc. the guy is awesome and he will win the Conn Smythe for play-off MVP when the Oil hoist the cup.

Wow.....huge swing here. I am just happy there is a game 7. Local NBC affiliate pre-empted(is that the word) the game here to show the local MLS team.

There was an apology that night on the local news and something in the paper today. Can you believe that....MLS regular season game(something NOBODY I know locally even cares about) in place of game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals. If I would have missed the raising of the cup I would have been bitter for a year.

In fact, typing this I am still pissed off.

I don't care who wins.... Hope it is a finish like we had in game 5.....

and i would be pissed about that too...... no respect for hockey in the states, why get the contract if you show MLS over a game 6 cup?

I am expecting a great game, both teams will be juiced, if Jussi doesn't have a meltdown the Oil will complete the comeback and Pronger will be MVP.

GREAT series! Too bad no one is watching. The numbers are horrible. Hopefully now that it's gone this deep, more folks will watch game 7.

I don't have Prongers stats in St. Louis, but you can't deny his performance in this cup run. If Lowe doesn't sign him and Peca the Oil don't even get a sniff!!!

He is the guy you hate until he joins your team.

I just don't think he is the leader like (cough) some people think. Not everyone is a leader which is ok.

We traded Roenick (not all that much a fan) but he was a leader. He worked his ass off every game and he got you goining. Zamrov was a douche bag and he wore the C. So terrible, that guy as a leader.

He is a great player nonetheless.

The reason you don't have stats on his blues playoff history, is because there are none.

I watched Moreau play with Chicago. That kid is a leader. He deserves that A more than Pronger ever will.

Cant wait for this game..

so my prediction of Canes in 5 didnt work. but none the less i did pic kthe winner.

one hell of a game tonight too. edmonton made it an aweosme series by not rolling over and dying after going down 2-0.

bummer there is no hockey for the next 4 months now. Confused

Could they get any more people out on the ice for the cup presentation? That sucked - the guys don't even get a chance to skate it all the way around the rink a time or two. They got stuck in that one end.

Love the excitement of raising the cup. Brind'Amour had his legs stomping like a little kid... Such good stuff.

Doug Weight raised it as best he could(looked like it weighed 220 lbs to him), then skated off like someone had punched him in his shoulder.

Easily the best celebration in sports.
