Need a new cellphone, but Verizon's choices suck!

Well my current phone sucks. It's just boring, my old one broke in half. It was awesome, and with my insurance they sent me this POS.

I like my Verizon service, never had a prob. not too mention I am no longer under a contract. But I wanna get a new phone, and wondered if anybody new of a place where you can get phones and have them programmed for your provider. A buddy of mine got a cool phone in CA, and had it programmed for his Alabama provider.

Like I said, Verizon has no cool factor on phones, Cingular has the black razor which is cool as hell. And I am not about to buy a dam laptop that sits on my belt (palms, treos, etc) those are overkill. Do yall know where to get some cool phones?

I have the Black Razor, I'd say go with that, but you want verizon.

Generally, like in Radio Shack or other stores, it says verizon on them too.

Isn't that one of those keyboard phones? I just got this VX8100 (I think that's what it is) and it's got a loud speakerphone, and it's relatively thin, but it's Verizon (the only service company that didn't go out when we had the 6.0, btw ). It's got picture and video and mp3 stuff on it, but I don't think it's anything like those $700 phones.

and no u can't use a verizon service on a razor due to the sim card verizion wireless does not use

The Verizon Razr will be out in november if you can wait. i played with one the other day, its pretty bad ass
