|
|
I'm ready to submit for some help...
I wear a 14 shoe prefer a wider rebook over a nike. I've tried two bindings so far, a cheap rent it, and a XL LF Alpha.
My problem is my feet feel like the arches are being crunshed. It's very painfull to be in the bindings. They are my friends and they were brand new. They hurt enough that after two pulls I wanted out.
For 06' I plan on getting my own gear. And am willing to spend what ever it taked to get bindings that feel good.
I own roller blades and ski boots, and have never felt pain like that.
Ideas? Suggestions? |

Ok...I have a wide foot and have experienced stupid pain with many different bindings. Solution...Hyperlite Byerly boots with the BOA system, it let's you adjust the tightness around your foot and instep (mine is high, which creates most of the pain)
Only 239 at Buywake and the people there are rad.

The alphas come in XXL. I think the XL only goes up to size 12. I have a size 13 and I almost hang over the XL sphynx footbeds. I would definatly look for a binding in XXL. _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)

I have wide feet too. I ride transits and have never ever had a problem. Also, all my friends who ride in them love them too. Personnally I think that you should stay away from wraps, stick with lace ups.

brianw21, definatley do with hyperlite bindings over liquid force. hyperlite have always been a wider profile. check out the Murrays, with the front boa and lacing system you cant go wrong! _________________ buywake.com

we laugh indoors, well we laugh at you (that was wayyyyy to easy). LF has a much much much much much much much much much much much better binding line-up than Hyperlite. All of their bindings are more comfortable than hyperlite's. Well, at least the high end ones. My friend's parks are horrible compared to my Transits. Another friends Byerly's are a POS compared to some good ole' ultras. I'm trying to compare similar bindings to give hyperlite a chance. I demo-ed some sphynx's on a subjekt and some murray's on a murray and the Murray bindings couldn't even compare. However I did like the murray board better.
