Power down and restart.
Works for me when it happens. _________________
8824, dude - I suck. You were right.
. |

| there should be a little tiny hole somewhere on the face of the cd drive. stick a paper click in there and it will eject it manually. i've had to do this a few times. |

Sounds like the cd you put in had some rough mold bumps on the inner circle and the motors spindle became stuck on it. _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut. |

Get the biggest/strongest magnet you have, and go in through the back of the computer with it, gonig past all the CPU Hard Drive etc, and get to the cd drive and push.... Should fix it right up
That was a JOKE by the way... |

I don't think a staple's big enough to do the manual eject. I always unfold a paperclip.
When you did the manual eject did the CD tray open up and you still couldn't get the CD out? Or did it not open at all?
If it did open use tweezers or pliers to reach up and grab the cd. I've had to do this before. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |
