The Simpsons made fun of Jet Skiiers!

Anybody see that tonight? The episode overall wasn't very good but they made out the jet skiiers to be a band of thugs that were harming the manatee. ...Now if they could just make fun of tubers.

dude have you noticed how big a jet ski wake is? almost non existant, a wakeboarders goal is to make their wake huge. who do you think chops the water up more?

Their chop doesn't bother me, what's annoying is that alot of them like to ride right behind you while you're boarding - or my favorite, buzzing a downed rider. Not just that tho...they just tend to be oblivious to the needs of boaters. Like giving them a little room when a boat is following a shoreline - uh yeah guys, we actually have a draft and CAN hit bottom. Or stopping right in front of a WB boat trying to maintain a straight line. Not all of em are bad, but the majority are completely ignorant of anybody but themselves.

I saw that shaun murrays wakeboarding unleashed also portrays how stupid jet skis are. on the lake powell level there is always one that cuts me off at the beginning.
