Mp3 player dillema!

Okay so for those of u that havnt seen the aussie invader thread me and cm are driving around the USA and our only source of tunes is on my Mp3 player...
Well its a Creative zen touch and i bought it a few weeks before leaving australia and the problem is that the charger decided to die! it would be under warranty but im not gonna send it back to australia. and i cant buy a new charger cos they arent sold. My only sort of option is to buy a car kit for it but no one stocks them and i would have to buy it off the creative website then the problem is we are travelling so i dont have an mailing addy...
any ideas people??

Would one of those I-GO things from radio shack work? I'm not really familiar with them but they are supposed to be like a universal charging system for anything you can think of. It just has like little adapters for different applications so you don't have multiple chargers laying around, just a few adapters. That would be my suggestion but I could be totally wrong on how those things work...just find a radioshack and ask them. By the way man, where are yall at now?

nah mate we went to radioshack and tried that he said it wouldnt work but i got it anyway and sure enough it didnt Confused

so yeah looks like it has to be a creative product!

Awesome, Memphis is a pretty cool place. I live about an hour from there. How do you like the Southeastern part of the country so far? While you're in Memphis you should find a good barbeque place, several places to choose from....they have some of the best barbeque in the world there Very Happy

Oh, and hate to hear that about your mp3 player...maybe somebody will have another idea....

ahh sweet i still have to find somewhere to match the ribs i had in sacremento. Ill make that a mission for tonight! no worries thanks anyway

If it comes down to it you could try one of the universal adapters that plug into a wall outlet and charge it whenever you get the chance. I'm sure you know what it is, but its the one where you can adjust how much voltage it puts out and has all kinds of different plugs on it. Just make sure you know how much voltage your original one was rated for, too much power would probably toast it.
