Love the colors.
After riding in an '05 X-Star this weekend, I have realized that Malibu is head and shoulders above in fit and finish.
Nice Boat!!!! _________________ Steal My Book

thanks, I just don't like graphics all over the boat.
the carpet this year is super soft too, it's almost like a shag!
The power wedge is pretty cool, we seemed to make the wake bigger with a half wedge instead of full or none, I'm not sure why. I hit the switch and brought it half up and watched it raise up over my girlfriend's knee while she was riding. It was all the way down, at half it got super huge without being really wide, kind of weird. It's still the wrong hull they gave us the diamond instead of the wakesetter, so this boat is just a loaner right now. The right one will look identical though. So I can only imagine the wake will get better. _________________ This has been a DizzyG Message |

They gave you the wrong hull? How in the world do they build your wakesetter with the wrong hull and never notice. How did you figure it out? |

a friend caught it while it was sitting next to another '06 at the dealer. The dealer says they've never had a screw up like this before. I guess this is the first year you can order a wakesetter with a diamond hull, but the invoice from Malibu said it was a wakesetter.
The pepsi challenge is the back of the boat on the bottom, near the sides. The diamond has a huge lip there, the wakesetter, does not.
this is ours (diamond hull)
and the true wakesetter hull next to it
now ask me if you can tell a difference! Ok, I'll just answer...NIGHT AND DAY! It was really pathetic with the diamond hull, even with the 1250lbs of factory ballast and a wedge.
But hey, it's a great loaner! _________________ This has been a DizzyG Message |

You brought back like 5 topics in as many minutes. A little crazy don't you think?

This thread was at the top for almost a week. You have 3 posts per day. I think you saw it. Maybe I'm wrong though.

we got the new one in August, just in time to use it a couple of times and winterize it. I took it out yesterday though, first pull will be this coming weekend. I don't have any new pictures, but it's pretty much identical minus the hull _________________ This has been a DizzyG Message |
