I will be demoing an Iride this week end. I've looked at them in the past and notices the back locker extends to the floor. Has anyone added a fat sack in the back locker along with the standard wedge/MLS setup?

That's a good question, I believe Malibu has/had a problem with people adding too much weight in the back locker of their older direct drive boats. The floor wasn't strong enough and would crush the gas tank underneath. Be sure to check that out before you try to put weight in there.

You might want to try to search the subject, I know it's been talked about but I'm not sure what years and models it effected.

The new boat storage locker is deep and goes all the way to the floor. The gas tank is under the floor.

There used to be warning stickers in there that says not to exceed 75lbs in the locker.

Doug is right. You can plum a pump and a sack back there. I have a sunsetter LX (Same as the I-Ride). With a sack in the ski locker and a 750lb sack in the back with the wedge, the wake is great.
