Yes, most likely your rope is way to long.
75 ft is a length that a lot of people with towers and a speed of 23mph+ ride at. Generally speaking you should be at about 60 for 20 mph and no tower, is your boat an i/o? _________________ O+<| |

Yeah, what he said. I are perfecting my W2W on an I/O, with a Monster Tower, and just now went to 70 feet, only because the wake was cleaner back there.
I will say it before anyone else does, but have you done a search yet? W2W, or progressive edge.. there was a topic a few months back on clearing the wake, so maybe search for that phrase.
Basically, what clicked for me was holding the edge through the wake. I was charging in , with a progressive edge, but flattening out the board mid way up the wake. This caused all my built up energy to sag, and therefore, not allow me to do W2W.
Another thing that really helped me was to put that handle at your front hip. I made a point to concentrate on bringing it in low to my lead hip, when I was out, about to start my approach to the wake. Focus on keepig it there, keeping the edge, and not ollieing on the wake, striaght legs off the wake.
Visualize jumping on a trampoline, and the top of the wake...
Do you have any video or pictures of you at the wake? _________________ Be an organ donor! My father is alive today because of kind souls that donate life... |

" Visualize jumping on a trampoline, and the top of the wake..."
thats a good one
so yea, what he said, but maybe speed it up a bit, this will clean the wake up, make it thinger, usuall steeper, and its alot easier when you go fast. |
