| If you've ever wakeboarded at False River you've seen all the party barges. the one thing that pisses me off is wen party barges pull tubes. Wats the point in that. Its ok if they're just cruisin. tell me what u think. |

Well, yes and no. I know where you are coming from, but you have to understand how they look at it. They dont think they are hurting anyone. They are just drinking and having fun. They dont know about "butter" and stuff like that, so whats the difference according to them. Most people i know that go on party barges dont think they are bothering anyone, they have their fun and you have yours. Then again, most people i know are corteous to other people. So i cant speak for everyone. Just remember that the lake belongs to them as much as you. And if you are corteous, maybe they will follow your example and everyone can have a cream pie and be happy.
the only reason i am saying this is b/c i have tubed behind a house boat. Call me an idiot, but i had a few beers with me and jumped out on a tube on the way out from the marina. now, we didnt go out pulling tubers once we were settled, we took the other boats. But i did ride in one behind the house boat when we left the marina. And yes, i was a little tipsy to say the least. |

| no, things like that are definatly irritating. Its just another part of life we have to deal with. I just try to stay corteous and hope they do the same. some people do, some people dont. I just make it a point not to act like the steroetypical "wakeboarder" and act like i own the lake. the problem is, you cant change it, so whats the point getting mad about it. try to make the best of it. but believe me, i kow that things like that are a pain in the a$$. lol |

false river is a cool place, been there a couple of times, but its in the middle of freaking nowhere from covington. as for party barges, they dont bother me so much, cause they have a small wake. its the idiots that drive jetski's while drinking with no lifejacket 10 feet away from me that pisses me off. i guess its worse on a private lake, cause no law enforcement _________________ Leges |

| yea jet skiiers kinda piss me off but not alot. PoRT false river is in new roads, louisiana bout 45 minutes from baton rouge. If you see 2 ppl on a jet ski pullin a wakeboarder on green sea doo (3 seater) that would probably be me, because not alot of ppl do that. But if you do go, go early cuz its gets pretty rough. A good to place to go is at the ends or there is this line of trees where the houses stop(on the new roads side).Wen r u goin?? |

| I dont know, my buddy with the boat just told me that hes not taking it out anymore due to gas prices. I told him i would pay for the gas when ever we go, and he still said no. I dont know whats going on with him, but it looks like my riding days are over, until i buy my own boat. ahh well |

| I used to ride out at Tickfall, when I lived in BR. False was just way too rough. We also rode on some private lake, but we had to ride in circles when other boats were out there it kind of sucked too. |
