Bought a jetpilot stance back in early june, just noticed two tears this last weekend! Man was I pissed. Both tears are at the bottom stitching of the 'belt loop' straps. those of you who have or have used will know what i'm talking about... verticle straps with two loops for the buckle to feed through. Anyways, I've probably taken 10 trips to the lake with the vest, minimal use in my opinion, and the vest was treated with care every time. Anyone else out there experiencing this?

Should I take it back to the boardshop I bought it at, or contact Jetpilot directly? It's been about 3 months now...

I purchased my stance at the first of the season. I have not had the issue you desribe but all of the flotation in the back of mine is always bunched up and screwy. It sucks because I really like the jacket.

I had the exact same problem with those 2 rips. I bought mine online from perfski.com and it ripped within 2 weeks of purchasing. I called them up, sent pics, they forwarded those pics on to jetpilot, then jetpilot sent me a brand new one, didn't even have to send my old one back. So I got my mom sto stitch the old one up real good, probably better than what it was to begin with, and sold it on ebay and kept the new one. Very Happy

For all I know, those rips could have been there for a while. funny thing that my mom also suggested just re-stitching it, but all the way through this time. Would love to swing a free vest but more so would just be happy with one that didn't fall apart. Mad

Take the vest back to the shop that you got it from and they will get a RA # for you and send it back. Jetpilot does not repair anything so they will credit your shops account and your shop will give you a vest out of there inventory. Unless your shop doesnt have anything left than they will send one out to you. I have had 5 or 6 vest come back to my store in the last two seasons with the same ripping in the same places.

Just as juiced4ever said, give the shop that you purchased the vest from a call and they should issue you an ra#. Jetpilot is really good about warranty issues.

I have the same vest used it for about a month with no problems except the back padding all fell to the bottom. I sent it back to Wakeside and they are sending me a replacement. I just hope the padding doesn't fall on this one because I love the vest.

i got mine at wakeside as well... so i'm glad to hear they will replace it due to the rear padding issue. i love the vest, but i don't know confident i am that the padding in a replacement won't do the exact same thing. oh well - it's worth a shot.

a-ok, I hear ya, if the back does the same thing I will return for credit and get a different vest, hoefully it doesn't because I really like this vest. Yeah Wakside really took care of me on this one. Sent the vest back and they had a tracking number for the replacement the day they got the bad one. So far I have had great experiences with them.

I got one for christmas and used it throughout the winter sparingly, and all summer and I love it. I have not had one single problem with it.

Same issues for me with an A-10!! Bought that ish at buywake.com and 2 weeks later stiching came undone and I sent it back to them and they had a new vest to me in 2 days.... that's hot.

I love mine and have had no problems. Mine is CGA. I had the non cga also. I found that I didn't care for the way it floated me though.

My buddy bought one and it ended up giving him a hardcore rash in his armpits. It was actually kinda funny Laughing
