well guys my first invert attemp was a tantrum and i thought it would be easy but... backrolls are WAY easier i would definitely suggest tryin a backroll first.

eylse I can barely spin bs and didn't learn until after I had a handful of inverts but its all personal preference. Some people find more comfort in spinning others with inverts and different inverts at that. I suggest getting on a trampoline and doing the basic inverts and figuring out like 2 or 3 that feel the most comfortable and then trying each on the water (after you research them and fin out how to intiate rotation and do the trick) and see which out of the 2 or 3 is the most comfortable/closest and then try to focus on that one until you land it and then move on with the others.

Enzoborder230, Not true.. It depends on how you progress! I was riding 6 weeks before I got into inverts! It's just a matter of how you push yourself...

Whatever floats your boat, whether its a back roll or a tantrum. Whichever feels better. Try letting go of the rope when you launch and flip to get the feel.

Good luck.

QNev I have to disagree with you. I would never suggest letting go of the rope when you launch for your first invert. Letting go of the rope will slow and change your rotation and can causemore injuries than if you just buck up and commit. Without full commitment you are going to have a hard time learning any trick.
