I have a 99 Bu Sportster and was wondering if it was even possible to put an internal ballast in the boat. There are no ski lockers, coolers, etc. I was looking around under the hatch behind the engine to see if there was a panel to take off where there would be space to shove a bag into, but I can't really see how it would be possible. Would I have to pull up carpet and cut a hole in the floor?
I was going to put one up under the passenger seat and wanted to put some under the floor somewhere, but can't see where it's possible. |

it is not possible to put the bags under the floor boards, but you can plumb it under the floor and just hook up the bags when you are ready to go.
Do a search - there are many good articles including one that I wrote about 1 year ago on how to do this in a ski boat. _________________ If you do not like your job, you don't strike....You just go in there everyday and do it really half a$$ed.....Now that's the American way - Homer Simpson. |
