Can you guys give me your opinions on the ride diff. of the murray vs. the era board.
I am a very experienced expert/ adv. snowboarder, so I want a good all around board that can do the surface tricks but be great in the air. I won't even tell you what I am on now to lame
Tell me your rides on these boards what were they like!
Thanks

well the murray is a little slow... HL refers to it as the same pop everytime and a slow reacting board... the era is pretty opposite of that, but "with great power comes great responsibility" _________________ Hyperlite 2005 Premier DNA 141 (props to harf) |

The Murray is pretty smooth and has light if very little molded fins so it isn't going to be faster than the era, but has the surface breakers for a smooth landing and is all around very smooth to ride and the twin tip design makes it very easy to edge and hold an edge longer. It is a continuous board so it doesn't have that big pop you get out of a 3stage but in turn makes it very predictable when you hit the wake but still is agressive enough to launch you across it and not up. I'm very beginner and I can tell a large difference in my ability when I switched from a motive to the murray I now have. _________________ 05 Murray 142.3 Bio2 W/ 05 Eras |

| For anyone that thinks the murray won't launch them very high, watch murray ride it. |

the murray is waaaaay faster than the era. and the premier has more pop and is a little faster than the era. both are good boards. id go with the murray. next years murray looks way sick. |

personally I think the Murray and the Era are both good boards, the murray being very fast and having a very long pop and the era being a little slower and more controlled feeling with a slightly more vertical pop, if you have ridden both and you cant decide try the 3DS that is smack dab in the middle of the two thats what I did and as luck would have it I liked it better than bot the murray and the era very fast but still very poppy yet still smooth just my thoughts but given a choice just between the two I personally prefer the Era over the murray _________________ TEAM PIRATE, AAAARRRGGGHHH YOU READY?

| I'd say grab a Motive or an old 99 or 00 Belmont (Murray's old shape.) if you want something consistent. The Murray is probably the worst board I've ever ridden even compared with my old '97 Double Up. (of course this is all IMO) You constantly have to pull to keep the board under you and it was really burning my and all my friend's shoulders when we demoed it. |
