I just learning to wakeboard and am considering a new board/bindings. I currently have an old CWB Swirl w/sandle bindings. My boat is an I/O with a very small swim platform, so I usually strap on the board when in the water. I'm considering a package from boardco.com with a hyperlite motive. It gives options on bindings: Vario, Spin, or State. The price isn't much different, I just don't want a binding that will be a pain to get into or uncomfortable to wear.
Anyone have any experience with these bindings(board) or other suggestions. |

Roger, those 3 bindings should all be easy to get into when your in the water. i personally have never tryed them on, but by looking at them i think i would go with the states.
the varios dont look like they have very much support. while the states have 2 velcro straps, that do a little, not a whole lot though, and two lace holder htings, where the rubber is alot thicker.
so back to the point, id take the state. plus you get $33 in bonus bucks

My neighbor has the state bindings on his board and he says they're supportive and easy to get into. _________________ i have mastered the art of the wipeout. |

If you can try the bindings on and see how they feel. If not pray that they work for you and are comfy. _________________ i have mastered the art of the wipeout. |

I'll go with the state bindings. They do look better and more supportive.
Unfortunatly, I won't get the $33 bonus bucks. That only applies to the Motive 134/State package, I think the 140 would be a better size for me(180lbs).
Any comments on the Motive vs State boards. I noticed it's a newer design and have read some great reviews on it. |
