I'm thinking about buying a skateboard for the offseason to help me with balance, switch, ollies and what not. Where is a good place to buy a skateboard on the net because there aren't any boardshops around that I know of. Also I don't really want to spend a whole lot of money on one. I don't know a whole lot about them so if you recommmend buying the parts seperate list the trucks, bearings, etc that would be good. |

Ok, thanks. Do I need to get level 1, 2, 3? If not level 1 which trucks, bearings, etc? Also what type of deck? It has different types such as control concave, steep concave, canadian blank, etc.. |

dude i got a blank deck 1 from them and a tgm blank and the trucks are a lil heavy and the wheels are to soft but i guess it works and i planned on just skateboarding to help me out with snowboardng and wakeboarding but its way to addicting and to much fun to just do it for practice _________________ FENDER!! .... |

i say go with a minimum of a level 2 if you want to spend the extra $20 for level 3 but you font really need it. if it were me i'd get a house special 7.5 in, jessup grip, gk-7 trucks, reds bearings, wheel size wold vary depending on what youre doing but i like them small and hard, (50mm 100A) |

you get what you pay for. Abec 1 bearings and a 9 ply deck if you are not going to be serious about skating it will be fine, but my guess is you will get hooked and that setup will just not cut it. |
