I saw a guy on a motorcycle turn his head into hamburger after he smacked into a city bus when I was 16. There were no helmet laws back then.

I was a beach lifeguard for years and I think the femur fractures are the sickest trauma I've seen. I can deal with blood and nasty open wounds but disfigured body parts are the worst. Dead bodies are also pretty scary.

3 Words...faces of death.

Anyone who wants to be grossed out should watch these videos. There were like 6 of them.

In one of the it showed a dude who got ran over by a boat...if you see it you'll start being more careful around boats, I promise.

nor*cal - im a lifeguard too! i haven't been trained for the beach yet. i've been working at the pools all summer and the worst thing that happened was some little twerp crapped in the pool and we had to take the skimmer and get it from the bottom of the pool. kicked everyone outta the pool and got to go home early tho, it was great.

Joe Theisman's broken leg was pretty nasty. But some of the things I've seen on Faces of Death and Banned in the USA are pretty wrong. I was a medical first responder when I worked in the shop at my job and saw many severe lacerations, severed fingers, etc. Also, home videos of women giving birth makes me ill!

faces of death was defenatly the worst thing i've ever seen in my life. personally the worst thing i've ever seen in person happened when i was working at natural bridge caverns. i was standing in the building when i happen to look outside and a little kid is tugging at his dad's pant leg. the dad shrugs him off and then the kid gets a wierd look on his face and just blasts crap all over himself. i started cracking up at the scene when my manager comes by and tells me to get some bleach and go clean it up. needless to say i found a new job after that.

A 4" x 6" patch of skin torn off my left calf down almost to the muscle. You could see the tendons and teh meat.

130 stitches and a skin graft later - it still looked like a mess.

Sickest thing ive ever seen would be this summer when i i voulnteered to help my dad(hes a toronto fire fighter) at some youth event, and so i was driving the gator(atv type vehicle) and some lady ran up to me and my dad and was screaming that her friend was like having heat stroke and kinda got crushed, man he was so mangled and his eyes looked so sick . I dunno it was weird tho.
That or when i lost all the skin on the side of my left hand 2 years ago, cause my older caousin and i were skating and some how i fell on my hand and it ripped the skin off, the doc said i got 2nd degree burns from it, i still have 2 big liike circle scars. Im sure this ain as bad as anyone elses but its the worst ive seen.

I was out a breckenridge a few years ago and we were going up the a mid mountain double. It was one that didn't have saftey bars just a poll in the middle. This little kid lean forward to do something to his skis and slid out of the seat and was hanging by his dads skis. He couldn't do anything becuase if he moved too much the ski would pop off and if he leaned forward he would get dragged out. Well right when the lift got to the biggest drop the kid couldn't hang on anymore and fell and landed on groomed slopes. It was nasty.
I also got a cat fish barb stuck in my big toe one time trying to kick a catfish head in the water. It went right through my shoes into my toe. Nobody could pull it out because of the barbs that were on it and it was in pretty far. I had to sit there while some people held my leg down and my dad pulled it out with a pair a plyers. I think that was probably one of the most painful things yet for me.

my friend was telling me the sickest story. the cops went to the site of an accident and found a guy sitting curled over from behind. they thought he was dead b/c he wasn't moving or anything. so they approached the guy and found him w/ his hands cupped b/t his legs. they discovered that the guy's ball sack was split open and he was holding his balls in his hand.

One time my buddy was undoing a volleyball net from the post thing in gym class and his foot slipped and he slid down the pole. His sac hit the support thing on the side and got ripped open... it was GROSS...

One time my dad was fishing and he caught a bass. While he was taking the hook out the fish jumped and one of the barbs went really deep into his thumb. My dad's stupid so he tried to pull it out and ended up pulling his tendon out of the puncture wound. Waasn't pretty

Here's something that's pretty gross, although it can't come even close to the ball sack rippage stories. I play on my work basketball team, and last week a guy on my team got elbowed in the face and got a cut on his forehead that was at least an inch long and blood went everywhere. The next part is the gross part though, and I'm serious about it actually happening. The guy then started to lick his blood off the ground.

This guy works with chemicals all day, that have fumes that are pretty bad for you. I'm sure he's gotten pretty messed up from them. Not a very bright guy. The first day I started working there, he started telling me about how cops weren't to be trusted and how they take people they dislike out to remote areas and beat the crap out of them or even kill them. I've met some very interesting people at my job.

Yeah, I was definately concerned about AIDS also. We quit the game afterwards though since he had to go and we only had 4 players left.

My friend's dad's company. We build commercial cabinets that go out to places like Target and Northwest Airlines and a few other well known companies. It's not as bad as it sounds, there are a few weirdos there, but most of the guys are perfectly normal and most of them are great people. One guy has no teeth, it's very strange to see him talk.
