I've been wakeboarding for awhile and I can jump W2W just fine. I feel like I'm ready for the tantrum. I have practiced on the tramp and I'm pretty consistent. Any words of wisdom? Anything I need to think about before trying this? I've seen the breakdown and how your supposed to execute the trick but what about mental prep? Do you tell yourself what to do just before you do it? I just want to be ready!

play the trick over and over again in your head, visualize yourself/someone else doing it, and then jsut huck. if you keep wrecking on it, let someone else go out for a set, and then go out after them. while you are in the boat think over what you are gunna do.

swilly, I'm trying them right now...the falls don't hurt at all because your adrenaline is pumping so fast when you try them. Well at least for me it was.

My biggest mistake in these was holding my edge when I hit the wake. Stop edging about 3 feet from the wake. This is called a trip. Once you hit the wake, throw back and comitt!

Also, keep your legs straight. Landing with bent legs, especially when you case the wake isn't a good way to try and land. You'll never land that way.
