house came with a boat

I just bought a house that has a boat sitting on the yard. It has a tandem trailer with an electric winch. It looks like a 24', fishing boat. It has the numbers, serial and registration numbers and even the plate which expired back in 96. Does anyone know what I can do to get a title and or registration for it? What govt agency would handle this? thanks

Start where you get your auto licence tag and if they can't help contact the Department of Natural Resources. One should at least head you in the right direction if they can't help.
