|
|
Does anyone have any opinions as to what the best full 3/2 wetsuit make and model is for wakeboarding? Or should I just go with whatever seems to fit?
And along those lines, I have been borrowing a friends wetsuit which, according to the manufactures guidelines, should be a little big for me but which I really like. Should I just get another one of it? _________________ Check out my wakeboarding links page. |

imo, id go with whats comfortable. but a wetsuit is for keeping you warm, so it depends on what temps youre riding in. they make 3/2 's with different stitching and materials to accomodate for what youre looking for.
i ride and surf in Michigan and bought a jetpilot alpha and really enjoy it. i used to have an older oneill that was very restrictive and bulky.
Check out the manufactures websites...theres a lot of info on them. find what youre looking for then try and get to a retail store to see it in person.
good luck _________________ it's not dirt or snow...so huck and throw! |

Have a look at Rip Curl. Ride and surf also, and have been very impressed with mine. Went for the Elasto2

From the UK, so with our poor weather we do get a fair bit of use out of a wetsuit, and would always recomend pying that bit extra for a decent suit. I would also take a look at O'neil, their suits seem to last forever. |

| dont waste your cash on a wetsuit-get a drysuit. I bought one last season, what a difference. toasty warm and dry. I havent touched my wetsuit in a while. unless youre into ocean surfing the drysuit is the way to go. a few more bucks, but worth it |

The only dry suit I have ever been in was for scuba diving. It was pretty bulky and had a bunch of valves needed for diving. I doubt I would want to ride in it. Are there wakeboard specific dry suits?
I may consider this for early and late season. But I am very comfortable in a full wetsuit this time of year so I will still look into one as well. _________________ Check out my wakeboarding links page. |

| I have the bare ultra suit, no valves, just a little bit bulkier than a wetsuit but waay warmer. Once youre up and out of the water the bulky part is gone (air). I usually burp mine when I get in the water. check this site-good prices www.grizzley-sports.com they had mine delivered in 3 days for $270 the beginning of this year. |
