I do not understand the point of 4 and six fins! you guys should try no fins if you have been wakeboarding for a while I'll bet you will like the feel.
Also you cannot do sliders and rails if you have them. _________________ I RIDE |

| shouldn't u be able to do sliders w/molded fins?...its the same material as the board and creates a level surface from fin to fin |

| Snipermonkey456, you ride a sol. that board has like eight fins, right... molded in fins count as fins. i ride my absolute and premier finless, four fins. |

| Snipermonkey456, Your board has molded in fins (you can't remove them). A lot of newer boards have at least 2 molded in fins at each end. That is why most peoples are 4 or higher. |

OK then, I ride with 1 fin on the nose of the board so Its easier to ride switch. However, counting molded in fins I ride with 9 so...

I have six fins. Two .9' cupped side fins on each end an a 1" center fin on each end " LF Litmus". They are not very big. I ride without the center fin sometimes. Never taken off the side fins though. I imagine the board would ride way too loose.
Also, some of those molded in fins are bigger and run longer down the length of some boards. You need to take into acount that molded in fins are still fins. You just can't remove them. The few boards that I have ridden with molded in fins were not nearly as loose as my board. So just because you ride with screw in fins, you still might be riding with less actual fin surface overall. |

Snipermonkey456, I think you need to ride more boards to understand that boards ride differently w/ different size and amounts of fins.
for example:
board A might ride the same as board B but with an extra fin on each end depending on size and shape.
In addition, a board with three small fins (like .7's or so), may ride looser than a board with one 2.25 on each side.
Catch my drift here? _________________
