Does anyone know if u can make hard ballast tanks like the ones that come in most boats stock?

Hey sktw8,

Yup.

If you have welding skills, go for it. Stainless is perfect....
Others have used that sorta white polywollydoodle plastic stuff as I think they have the equipmnt at their work to "weld" it
I used to make tanks out of fiberglass (cloth, matt and polyester resin)

So there are several options depending on your skill set. .

Search around, there's been discussion on these options

Oh, there's a company out there that'll make you up custom sacks also...

You could just buy large fuel tanks from someplace like overtons and plumb away from there.

You could use RV holding tanks and plumb them.
30 Gal = 250Lbs

Boarders paradise has custom sacs. You specify actual dimensions and wher you want the two fillers.

You could also try a plastic welding kit. Harbor freight has a cheap one you could test your abilities with before shelling out a bunch of money. If that works out, you could by some sheets of PVC or PolyPro and start cutting.
