1. The wedge is a Malibu product
2. How many threads are you going to start regarding new boats?

You do realize you don't need to start a new thread for each new question? Confused

wake09, For what it's worth, can I provide you a little help in your boat search?

1. ASSESS YOUR NEEDS
Make a list (preferably short) of what you want in a boat (i.e. looks, big wake, flashy graphics, sweet tubing wake, budget, etc, etc).

2. RESEARCH
Do a google search on all the wakeboat manufacturers and go to there websites. READ about the company and the boats and each model. Pick one or two from each manufacturer that might suit your needs. Good names to start with: Supra, Mastercraft, Malibu, Correct Craft, Moomba, Sanger, Supreme, Tige, Centurion, Calabria, etc, etc.

3. FIND A DEALER
You'll find a handy little area on each of those websites that says 'find a dealer'. Follow instructions and find the local dealers.

4. DEMO
Visit the local dealers and go on a test drive and bring your wakeboard. Go wakeboarding, most dealers will do this if they know you're serious buyer. Don't fall in love with the first one, there are others. Choosing a dealer is one of the most important aspects of purchasing a boat. Find an established, reputable dealer and ask them for references.

5. NARROW YOUR CHOICES
Based on your (dad's)overall feeling of the boats and dealers you can get a list going of 2-3 boats that will suit all the needs.

6. TALK TO OTHERS
At this point, you're pretty informed. Find an online forum and discuss the ins and outs of your short list as well as personal experiences of others.

Have fun and enjoy whatever boat you purchase!

Good Luck!

TAPS isn't a wedge, it's a foil. It will decrease your default wake, making it more ski-able.
