good borad and some tips please?

Some friends and I have been starting to wake board for about a month. We bought a Obrien ambush board. Does anyone know if this is a good trick board? . Any pointers would be appreciated like speed, robe distance fins or not,etc.

well the speed should be where your comfortable (usually anywhere from 18-26) i like to ride around 19 or 20. the rope length should be adjusted so its at the nicest part of the wake at the speed your comfortable with. fins i would suggest maybe 1.5 to 2 inches if your just beginning and once you try surface tricks go finless or get some 1 inch fins. but be careful when using big fins because you might not learn how to properly hold an edge. just turning the board wont do much for progression. just get a nice relaxed stance and just lean and carve with your toes and heels.
