does anyone know any good knot tying sites?

i'm trying to make a rope for wakesurfing so i need like some sort of braid or something. just let me know if you have any good links, thanks

You dont need a site. Here's the perfect knot.

Tie your basic slip knot then keep passing a loop of the standing end of the line though the loop and each loop formed by that. By the end it'll look like a chain. To finish it just pass the end through the last loop. I dont know if this made sense but if not then i'll try again later.

What is the point of a braid? Why not just have a single short line dangling? (I dont wakesurf)

it's easier on the hands to hold onto and you want to be able to pull yourself up the line once you're going.

Dont you need 3 lines for a braid? My knot only needs one but whatever you do will work.

ballywho, yeah i had a long rope and also happened to have two shorter pieces laying around so i just braided those together and tied them off and the longer rope will attach to the boat
