|
|
In my search for a new boat, we have checked out the Malibu VLX in addition to the X2 and Sanger 215. We've pretty much settled on either the X2 or the VLX. I know alot about the X2 and have been riding behind MC's for as long as I can remember. But, not so for Malibu's or the VLX.
Anyway, we haven't demoed yet, but will soon. So I'm looking for any comments on the VLX, things to look for, engine sizing with the Monsoon, hydraulic wedge, ballast features, what is a must to have, etc etc. The new Malibu's are coming with their own speed control system. Has anyone used it and does it have any shortcomings? What about any likes or dis-likes out there?
Thanks again. _________________ (insert funny chit here) |

That option is slick.
Can the hydaulic wedge be adjusted in between the two set points or can it just be set to the max and the min.? _________________ (insert funny chit here) |

It's inifinitely adjustable between min/max, while moving. Dash mounted gauge.
You must be under 10 mph to deploy, but once it's down it's adjustable while moving. |
