| has anybody seen or used that manual that says you can make your own tower speakers for under 200 dollars. It sounds pretty good but stuff like that always has a catch |

For under $200 you could totally build a tower speaker system thats pretty sick.
Here an example setup:
Planet Audio 6x9's (4): $80
Enclosure Materials, Fiberglass or Wood: <$50
Tower Specific Clamps: ~$60
It's all about doing the enclosure yourself. You can definitely get nice sounding speakers and materials for under $200.
Go to www.termpro.com and do a search in the forums or just ask on some advice.
BTW, I used to compete on the dBDrag and IASCA circuits and have built some cars that have gone to world finals, so trust me when I say for under $200 you can have a nice setup if done right. Plus, its fun to DIY! Good luck. |

| Hey, I see you're in Baltimore. If you have a chance, stop by Auto Sound Express and see if Terry Brocks still works there. He's a great guy and he might be able to point you in the right direction. |
