I've been wakeboarding for about 2 years, however a freind has recently purchased a boat and we are now whizzing round a local ski lake regularly.
However, over the past few times my neck has been killing about 3 to 4 days after a session, we're trying to work out what is causing it, has anyone else had the same problems? It could be from the huge wipeouts that have been happening. I always wear a helmet.
Look forward yo your comments |

If it feels like a muscular pain , then thats normal and It'll go away the more you ride. Its just like working out. But if it feels like its in the bone , and it hurts like a mofo to pop your neck , you might wanna get that checked out , or just lay off the hard stuff for awhile until it subsides. Mine used to get pretty sore after riding a couple days in a row. I figured its from the wipeouts & my neck slapping hard on the water from faceplants which is very similar to whiplash. It'll get stronger over time. _________________ www.texaswakeboarders.com |

| I found that Tylenol or Advil help with the muscle sorness at night. Interestingly, more wakeboarding also helps you to get loosened up in the morning. (Though the soreness comes back with a vengeance later in the day.) |
