What RMS is the amp running at?
What fuse is in the Amp now?
Yes you can hook it up to the current battery. _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail. A great friend will sit next to you saying, "man that was cool as f*ck!" |

Probably 4 ga. wire. As for the fuse it's probably in the manual but somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 amps. _________________ I once saw a fork lift pick up a pallet of forks, it was way too literal for me. |

i would just go to circuit city and buy their tsunami amp kits. I got one for 50 bucks, you definitley need 4 gauge wire. you break about even after buying the right fuse box and all the wire you need, plus it looks cool. |

www.knukonceptz.com is cheaper by far. Or for 4ga and bigger, hit up a welding supply place. Not as pretty but nobody will know what color wire you're running if you install it correctly. _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail. I'd also consider runnning a at least a 1 MFD (microfarad) Capacitor. Some would go with a1.5-2.0 . This will ease the load on your electrical system and be sure that power is avaliable when the AMP needs it.

Use the correct guage wire and keep the amps close to the battery (keep wire runs as small as possible) and you should be fine w/o a cap. Do your research on caps.....there are many arguments for and against them. |
