progressive edge power transfer

yo yo wusssup every1 im a new-be on the boards.. wakeboarding too, been riding cables for like month n haf now.. i got my ollies down somewhat, and im pretty sure im gettin tha feel of progressive edging. however im having trouble with the actual line tension, pop sequence, it feels like i either just ram through the wake, well whatever pu$$y waves left over from the rider up front or i loose tension when im bout to hit it. ive figured out that its proper to keep yr body locked when edging, specially yr back and jus lean back hard i can almost do it where if id flick id get mad air but im a rookie... any tips appreciated!! thx

Yeah - cable progressive edge is a little different to do than behind the boat, but has the same idea. Sounds to me like you have the edge part down, you just need help releasing from the water, so basically think of it as edge really hard out against the pull of the cable, and then try to make yourself faceplant without letting go of the handle. Your title has it perfect...It is an edge transfer, so you are going from your heelside edge to the toeside edge very quickly which will just fling you out of the water! Try that - hope it makes sense!

ok, its exactly what it looks like.. wow.. cant wait to faceplant!!!! i just got my new setup in btw... 134 team with the 05 special edition team bindings.. also have a 143 and xl sphyx... lol a size too big on both.. :p
