I'm just getting into wakeboarding. I've never snowboarded or waterskied before.
What length tow rope should i be using? Whats the difference between a ski rope and one meant for wakeboarding?
Also not sure what type and size board to get. I'm 5'8" and weight 170lbs.
I'm also not sure on how to set up my bindings? Just where it feels comfortable?
audi styles,
Everyone here will have an opinion on length of rope, genral rule of thumb seems to be 60-70' depending on wake and whats comfortable for beginners. I know first hand that a wakerope will make a difference so if your buying one buy the wakeboard line that doesn't stretch. (ski ropes stretch under tension/wake lines do not) use the board finder to figure out the right size board, it on the upper left hand corner of the main page. As far as binding set-up I believe I would be accurate in stating once again everyone has a pers. preference but general rule is slightly duck footed \ / or back foot perpendicular and front foot slightly forward.
To close, enjoy wakeboarding and use the site, if you look through the posts you will find just about every question you could have answered. _________________ " I think were going to need a bigger boat "-Police Chief Martin Brody
