There also have been many forums on progressive edge, getting wake to wake, etc.

Specifically, from your pictures I'd say that your body position behind the wake is fine. When you start your egde to the wake you're cutting too hard at first which makes it impossible to have a progressively increasing egde. Then you have too much weight on your back foot causing the nose to pop up. Also, you're right about the handle too high. You'll have to think of pushing it down to your hips to correct that. But you're getting decent air so think of where you'll go when you correct these things. Go for it.

you can tell so much from a picture. first off your starting your edge off way too hard let the rope begin to pull you back in and then gradually get a harder and harder edge as you go into the wake. next it looks like you have too much weight on your back foot and are trying to use your fins to turn instead of your edges. Try having 60 back 40 front weight distribution. maybe try taking the fins off to work on edge control and surface tricks(just realized youre riding an era. take the fins off and leace them off). in the air(and pretty much all the time when wakeboarding) you want the handle glued to your front hip. you can see its by your head in the two air shots. the first air pic it looks like yo were leaning away from the boat as opposed to having an edge set up and slipped out on takeoff. the second one you let off your edge.

yeah the guy at the shop said leave the fins on for a while or it will be too lose.....maybe hes wrong, ummm and yeah my front hip heel side is my left hip correct? in the second pic am i off axis due to the rope being high up.....when i land do i want to land on my hs edge again so i don't face plant? i have got better since those pictures and land more offten but the jumps are not making both wakes, any help there? i land like RIGHT before the second wake and it makes it tough to stay up. Is it bad that i let go with one hand on landing, it seems to help me regain control......i also have trouble with standing up at the wake, do i just extend my legs but continue to put pressure on my heels? sorry this is so long and im sure not much of it makes sence Colorful Girl

imo the premier rides pretty much the same finless. ya if your left foot is forward then your left hip would be in front. yes land on your edge. let the rope out and take a shorter approach and work on getting a strong edge and going as far as you can. then take the rope in and use the same approach and youll be going w2w easy. hold on with both hands always unless you are grabbing the board. ya and you got the idea of standing tall.

I think it looks like you are pushing off the wake and flatting out as you go up the wake , that is pushing you off kilter

well just ease up on your edge a bit, still hold it but not as ahrd when you are at the wake. that way you wont be leaning abck as far, and then the baord wont slip out form udner you. if you can get some video footage that always help IMO.

snoop said it -- look at those pics and look where you are holding the handle -- the one pic it's up at your chin. The next one is a better jump -- but the rope is still chest high -- try to keep it lower while stranding tall...see in that pic where you are cutting into the wake and weher the rope is -- try and keep it there thorugh the jump
