Motoring through a sand bar will clean it right up...
Honestly, Im not sure exactly what to use, having an aluminum prop, but you might try some simple green. It'll clean up just about anything. _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)

Mother's metal polish works great. I've always used the aluminum and mag polish...dunno if they have something just for stainless. It works great but takes a bit longer to shine up than aluminum. You can get some at any auto parts store.
Also Never-Dull works good for polishing stuff. Nice cuz it comes as pre-soaked cloth. You just use a piece until it turns black, throw it away and wipe the metal clean. Repeat until you get the desired shine. _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail. A great friend will sit next to you saying, "man that was cool as f*ck!" |

This stuff works miracles on chrome, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel. I polish my rims and diamond plate on my trailer, prop and handles in the boat. I used to use Mothers... This is like 10 times better of a shine and there is also a sealer that keeps the water off...I got this stuff at a car show and they did it on the bottoms of pop cans and then the sealer and the water formed a ball and rolled around not leaving a trace... This stuff is great. |
