I'm getting a Hyperlite Karma, and can't decide between the 111 and the 105. I weigh 190.
Thanks |

That's a terrible board, really... there's not much else I can say to that effect, except that it's the worst shape/idea I've ever ridden. _________________ ...island style... |

Thanks for the info, but it would be alot more useful if you gave some suggestions about what board you like. Maybe tell me what you've ridden to compare it to. I also notice that you're advertising for Integrity.... and you're listed as one of their riders. Perhaps your oppinion is not exactly unbiased.
That is not to suggest that it is invalid, I'm just looking for a consensus. Maybe the integrity works for you, but the hyper works for everyone else. This is what I'm trying to find out, so if you reasd this post and have ridden one or more wakeskates, PLEASE REPLY! Especially if you have ridden more than one skate.
I am hoping to buy tonight to use tomarrow...but only if I have enough info. |

You don't get good enough to ride like Nick without having ridden at least a few different boards. He didn't tell you to buy an Integrity, so I think his opinion was not very biased. I agree with him, the Gate/Karma sucks. That is my opinion. There are probably many people who do like it, but I think there are more who don't.
Since you are looking, check out Sattelyte. I am 6'3" 230lbs and ride the 43" Combat concave. 19 ply Canadian Maple, with a solid feel to it. I am biased, but it is a great deck. Tell 'em I sent ya........ _________________ Sattelyte Wakeskates

I avoided telling you straight out to check out Integrity skates because I figured it would lead you to believe that it was a biased opinion. If you don't trust my judgement, then why post on a message board full of people with just as much or less experience with wakeskates as me?
I've ridden just about every shape out there, and the integrity was my favorite, which is why I ride for them now. I knew it was the best wakeskate out there and I wanted to help promote it, which is where I'm at now. So if you want to continue believing that hyperlite is the almighty (I'd like to prove to you otherwise) I'll say no more.
I feel sorry for you. _________________ ...island style... |
