If you can hit a backflip on a trampoline or off your pier i say take it to the water and hit a tantrum but if you have no fear try both and which ever one feels more comfortable. or keep workin on both of em'

Shenanigons916, Favorite trick doesn't mean you can do it for most of the members here.

wakechick182, If you can do backflips like Shenanigons916 said, I would try the tantrum, but the backroll is a really basic rotation to start off with. I would go out and try a backroll. Watch some videos of people doing them and stuff. Make sure you go 100% though. You can let go of the handle if you want but don't half the rotation or it will just hurt worse Smile Good luck!

colefooter, I tumble so I can do like standing tucks. But is the set up harder on a tantrum? I may try both and see what I feel is easier.

Shenanigons916, I can't do an OHH. It is my favorite trick though.

wakechick182, IMO knowing how to do both tricks, the tantruim requires a lot more work..but if you know how to do back handsprings and such from tumbling, then i'd start with a tanrtum.

imagine if you were riding a skateboard as fast as you could straight into a quarterpipe, and as soon as you hit the ramp you try to fling the skateboard out from under you to try to land back on your feet. that's what it's like for me.

i dont understand, i've heard people say put your trailing ear to your trailing shoulder, but that doesnt seem like it would initiate the roll i see in clips...
