Media Player for .mp4 files...

Hey I just ripped a dvd with handbrake onto my computer but when I open it with quicktime it doesn't recognize the file. It is a .mp4 file so I was wondering what I need to play that file. Also, how can I burn it to a DVD and be able to watch it like a regular DVD. I tried burning it but it burned a DVD-ROM.

download VLC player from Macupdate.com . it plays everything.... almost.

ripping videos... tisk tisk. Laughing

I downloaded VLC and when i tried to play a dv file it wouldn't play, It says an error occurred.
