IT seems like every time I jump in the air I can never get enough hight to clear the wake. I know about the three stage and continues boards, but do you know of any other tips. THANKS!

| when you jump in the air you need to pop a lot with you legs jump like your going to ollie on a skateboard and if you still cant get a cross speed up the boat a little to shorten the wake then when you can easily do that slow down to make a biger wake and provide more airtime and hangtime for tricks |

| alright...i dont mean to sound like an asshat or anything...but FoxxxAtown...that was THE absolute worst advice i have ever heard in my life, you dont ollie at the top of the wake, you do that on a skateboard because your feet arnt attached to the board, on a wakeboard, just stand tall at the top of the wake, and dont slow the boat down or w/e or shorten the rope, just cut out as far as you can, look at the wake and stop edging, wait for the rope to tighten up again then slowly start heading back into the wake, then (this is called a progressive edge) start building up speed towards the wake by leaning back more (to get more tension on the rope) and it helps me to bend my knees a lil more then i normally would when i cut in, then just stand up really fast at the top of the wake and it will shoot you straight into the air, also if your cutting in really hard and still not clearing the wake, speed the boat up, the faster the boat is going the faster you can cut in because the more tension you can put on the rope, i know this because when my boat goes at 2700 RPMs (dont have an actual speedometer) i can cut in really far and land WAY out into the flats but when i slow my boat down to 2450 RPMs (when i ride doubles with like little kids) i cut in as hard as i can and barely go w2w so just cut in hard, and stand up tall....there ya go |
