Hi, I am a fin hater. lol I'm riding an '04 O'brien oasis with the molded fins and I had some rail rtm 1.0's on there and decided to take them off one day and try it without fins. I LOVE the feel of it without fins...now my question is...what is the advantage of fins??

harder edge..more stable landings...straightens you out on spin landings

The advantage of fins is so you don't slip out of everything.. and it also helps edging. Try a board with no fins and no molded fins and you will understand.
