I have been a wakeboarding lurker for quite some time and finally decided to post about something. I know it isn't skateboarding but it looks awesome and there wasn't another board to post it under.

http://www.streetboarding.com

After checking out the videos and pictures I am thinking I will give it a try.

I used to see guys doing that in Santa Barbara when I was in college. I think we called it snakeboarding. I personally think it's kinda lame 'cuz you're strapped in so that takes summa the difficulty out of it (and fun since you can't do flip tricks), but then again smith grinding a 15 is no small feat strapped in or not.

Yes I saw the videos, how do you think I knew someone smithed a 15?

That front flip thing the guy did into the foam pit at Woodward didn't look as cool.

If you wanna get it, go ahead, I'm not telling you not to. Just my opinion about it. Another thing I don't like is that you're strapped in. With skateboarding there's a lot of situations where you wanna fly away from the board. If you can't you're gonna get really hurt. That's part of the reason I don't like snowboarding or wakeboarding very much, doesn't feel right. But that's my skate/surf background talking.

dude that wasn't a 15. I know that rail and it is like a 20. The other one is about a 15 but he does a 180 in and out of it.

I agree the flip into the foam doesn't look that great but the frontflip down macba...damn.

I'll let you know how it goes...just orderd it.

in the extra videos in some of the thps series, neversoft skates around skatelab with one. it looks fun, but scary if you think about how easy it would be to lean back or forward too much. on a snowboard or wakeboard, youre not standing right above the pivots, but with this, you are.

hey everyone. got the board awhile ago it took me a day or two to learn how to move but now i am picking it up a lot faster. A wakeboard background definitely doesn't hurt.

Anyway another new site came online with some videos and some of them show how the board moves.

i like being able to bail off the board. thats what freaks me out when i try stuff snowboarding. wakeboarding isnt as much of an issue, as water gives a lot more than concrete or packed snow.

id ride one around, but i wouldnt be hitting handrails on one.
