Anybody else had any problems with the feet cramping at the arch? I have with my new bindings but I would get the same thing with the old ones too from time to time. I've heard to try the tub trick to help break them in which I'm going to try soon. Also heard to just straight up loosen them up. I'm afraid to loosen them though as I'd like to have them tight as comfortably can which they are now (when first got them though they killed my ankles across the tops). Wondered if anyone else had any ideas? My sessions could be waaay longer if I didn't have this problem.

man this will sound so stupid, but cramping comes from a lack of potacium (if that is spelled right) my buddy is an occupational theropist and he gave me a heads up when my calves and feet were cramping... bananas are a good source or just a pill supplement from gnc or somthing... might help... (sorry about my spelling) it sux!

When I fall-which is often. I try and jiggle my board back n forth to let some water get in there and free up the tightness and allow my feet to relax. I would try and loosen the arch overlays one setting and see how that goes. Take your tool with you and fine tune it. Also, encourage a few others to ride it at first and help break it in.

My friend tried a neat trick for his ultras: He used a inner tube from a bicycle tire and folded it once/twice(?) with the nozzle at one end. He then inserted the other folded end into the bindings from the toes to the back of the bindings. He pumped it up quite a bit and just let it sit about a week and he said that it stretched them quite a bit. Something simple to try!

I used to have that problem and I actually get it when I snowboard. on the snow i just loosen my boots and no mo problem. on the water, though, i just make sure to stretch my feet before hand. I'm going to try the potassium thing though. the foot cramps haunt me in the mornings when I wake up the day after riding.

i have cramping to but its cause i broke my ankle once and now i have tendinitise in my ankle so my feet start to cramp after a long set. it might be that your bindings are to small.

Yea I got these Nice pro series bindings and they are XL and fit nice but lately they have been cutting the circulation off to me feet and my feet go numb after about 25minutes. If that didn't happen I would be riding for ever. Any ideas besides like stretching them out

dumassonwheels89, let someone with Fred Flintstone feet stretch them out. That's what I did and mine are very comfortable now.

I'm getting new 2004 CWB Torq's in a couple days and need to ride them for a tournament on the 6th of september. So if you guys know good ways to stretch them out before that, put it out there. I didn't quite understand the bicycle inner-tube thing but i get the idea of it.

later days, later wakes...

kind of a dead post but having related probs Razz . not in my calf or around my ankle but pretty much more in my toes. I've only been out maybe 4 times since last year and I start to feel like my toes are cringing up. yesterday was the worst. don't do much swimming but thought I would play around(maybe work on my front flips Razz ) from the dock. then my toes felt like they were tightening up. I was usually doing the doggy paddle technique since I wasn't very far from the dock and just kickin my legs back and forth. when I went to go strap into my wakeboard, right away my toes started to tighten up bad, just unbearable. any thought on why its just the toes? is it just cuz I don't go swim alot? don't have the ankle and calf probs since I tend to exercise a little and do a lot of snowboardin. usually i wouldn't worry about it and not go swimming any more but wakeboarding is really starting to grow on me this year Laughing .
