We've taken my Regal and hooked up some sets before. The next plan is to do some photo shoots with some local riders hooking the rope to the radar arch. That should be great. The wake is easy to shape out with trim and trim tabs and is HUGE(well over your waist) around 23 mph!

Thanks for all the compliments!
yeah, those are dubs there's one someplace on the side of HWY 87 that I lost a month ago too! It's a sweet boat but I'll be happy when I get a wakeboat again next season.
I put this together to get our dealership some attention...let me tell you it's working! It looks really tight, but I don't want people here to think I'm some cocky punk...it's all for advertising LOL.
It dwarfs my superduty going down the road(see my profile)
I can't wait to get some shots of us riding, it could be as soon as tomorrow!

The crazy thing is you can get a really nice used 36 footer for what you'd pay for a new X-Star and theres more than 10 more feet of boat. Gas would absolutely kill ya though

Nice boat. Can the radar arch handle the stress exerted from the wakeboard line?

yeah it can handle the stress. The radar arch is made out of Aluminum.
Gas is a hog, it's 24 gallons per hour at cruising speed.

| I rode behind a 38' Grady White. The wake was HUGE! It was pretty clean but it was impossible to clear the wake its so wide and the way the wake was formed its kinda hard to get air just stick with a wakeboat.

| i cant remember what this was, but i remember hearing that some pros went to japan, and didnt have a boat, so they boarded behind 50+ ft. fishings boats. I saw a picture and the rope was attached to the outriggers that were about 45ft. tall. Thats just insane..

Here's the picture from Japan.
It was in wakeboarding mag quite a few years ago, and there's footage of it in retrospect:

here is a wake on an '05 Xstar fully loaded with 8 people for comparison,
The camera was about 10 feet off the water on the photo of the 34'er, but the wake looks amazing.

For the record, yes it is choppy on the x-star wake, it was at the end of a calm cove where we pull the doubles and get a straight shot at the good water. I posted that so you could see the clean (Yet EXTREMELY wide wake from the Regal) two roosters from 2 engines. I tossed the biggest backroll of my life behind this boat. Pics will come, I promise.
